Last updated: August 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using PlaintiffsBar. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or accessing any feature of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Platform Description
PlaintiffsBar is a peer-to-peer growth platform exclusively for contingency-fee based plaintiffs attorneys. It is not a lawyer referral service or source of legal advice.
3. Membership & Verification
Membership is limited to licensed attorneys in the United States that are in good standing and who represent plaintiffs on a contingency-fee basis. All applications are subject to review and approval. We may approve, deny, suspend and/or revoke any membership at anytime at our sole discretion.
4. No Legal Advice
Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship.
5. Member Conduct
Members agree to use the Platform professionally. You may not post false or defamatory content, solicit clients, spam other members, impersonate anyone, or use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
6. Subscription & Payments
Paid membership renews automatically on a monthly basis. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months. Pricing, features, and membership tiers are subject to change at any time at our sole discretion.
7. Accuracy Disclaimer
EJT Ventures, LLC makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any information on the Platform, including but not limited to member profiles, practice area descriptions, directory listings, or content posted by members. All information is provided "as is" and for informational purposes only. You rely on any information found on the Platform entirely at your own risk. EJT Ventures, LLC expressly disclaims all liability for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in any content appearing on the Platform.
8. Bar Compliance; Assumption of Risk
PlaintiffsBar is a peer networking platform and is not a bar association, legal ethics authority, or regulatory body. Members are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the Platform — including any co-counsel arrangements, case referrals, fee-splitting discussions, or other professional activities facilitated through the Platform — complies with all applicable state bar rules, Rules of Professional Conduct, and any other rules, regulations, or ethical obligations governing the practice of law in every jurisdiction in which the member is licensed or otherwise practices.
Without limiting the foregoing, members expressly acknowledge and assume all risk arising from compliance with state bar rules governing attorney referral fees, fee-splitting, division of fees, and related matters (including, without limitation, Rules 1.5 and 7.2 of the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct and their state-specific equivalents). EJT Ventures, LLC does not review, supervise, approve, or validate any fee-sharing or referral arrangements and expressly disclaims all responsibility in connection therewith. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have independently evaluated and ensured compliance with all such rules before engaging in any referral or fee-sharing arrangement.
9. Release of Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby irrevocably release, waive, and forever discharge EJT Ventures, LLC and each of its members, managers, officers, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, successors, and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses of any kind or nature — known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, now existing or hereafter arising — relating to or arising out of (a) your use of or inability to use the Platform; (b) the accuracy or completeness of any information on the Platform; (c) your compliance or non-compliance with applicable bar rules or Rules of Professional Conduct; (d) any co-counsel arrangement, referral, or fee-sharing agreement entered into in connection with use of the Platform; or (e) any conduct of another member of the Platform.
If you are a California resident, you expressly waive California Civil Code § 1542, which provides: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party."
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time with notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Los Angeles, CA under JAMS rules. Class action waiver applies.
